Summer of Gratitude - 2025
While the campaign has concluded, your support is always needed and appreciated. Your support keeps families together while they are experiencing homelessness. Summertime brings extra expenses all around. With your support, you provide funds for children to go to childcare or summer camp while school is out. Just as it may in your home, the hotter months increases utility bills in the 3 family homes of DDH. Transportation costs typically increase during this season and public transportation has not been reliable.

In the past three years, 13 parents and their newborns have found a safe, supportive home at DDH. Each received the stability needed to heal, bond, and begin a healthy future. Whether they found us by calling us directly, or through their nurse or social worker, they had the time and space to provide a nurturing environment for their baby during a vital moment in it’s early life.
